busy busy bee

Hello 2011!
here are some photos of a ball gown I was commissioned to rework.
It was floor length with a 6ft train so I turned it into a fancy sweet cocktail dress with a new removable short train. I used the extra fabric to make a bolero jacket, and replaced all the tiny sequins that had fallen off throughout the years.

This Piece was a lot of hard work, but I'm proud to say she loved it.
It was also my first time making a bolero with a super high couture collar.

What do you think?

Street Smarts

I just found this ol' article from iVillage about how we dress in Philly featuring a photo of me!? This was taken outside my work in SEPTEMBER, and I just found out about it today (January 6th) :)
I'd like to meet the other ladies 'cause we make Philly look goooood....
