take me to pennyland

photos: amber danese grandfield
styling: sally jane vintage

It was so nice to get out of the city and meet my good friend Amber and her sweet pal Jennifer. Jen was our gracious host and fabulous stylist for our shoot at Rocky Springs Park in Lancaster PA. It was truly a dream to be shooting on the grounds of an abandoned amusement park that had been in operation from 1890-1981. There were plenty of old windows to spy in, trails to follow, and even broken down roller coaster cars from the wildcat coaster (1928) to play on. Our theme was inspired by the roaring 20's vibe of the park itself and Jen's super wardrobe selection (check out her etsy for sweet vintage finds you can own). I had so much fun spending the day in the fresh air and playing dress up at this hidden historical site. Major thanks (and props) to Amber for her wonderful "eye" behind the camera, and Jennifer for pulling amazing outfits that every girl should own and treasure.

Absolutely pretty! Love the crochet dress. I have a Chanel looking sweater like that. Is it vintage?
Happy Easter! Violet
